Giclée Proofs
When my paintings are in the process of being published,
I will typically look at 2-3 proofs before I am satisfied with the results. The proofs are printed on the exact same
material as the final limited edition print run so that we will know precisely how the larger - and very expensive - giclées
will appear. The proofs below are available for purchase and will be signed by me with the words "Artist Proof" added
below my signature.

The two remarqued prints above give you
an idea what "remarques" are, and how they look on the print. The Primary Edition is exactly the same in all
respects, sans the remarques. By the way, artists sign & number their prints, and do their remarques, in pencil
because pencil can't be reproduced faithfully like inks can. Pencil can be reproduced, but you can always
tell it's not "original". That way, you are guaranteed that you are getting a genuine artist-approved print, and not an unauthorized
"reproduction". A little collector's trivia.
